On March 16, 2016, Corey and I went on a blind date to New Holland Brewing. We immediately connected over our love for active lifestyles, MSU Athletics, and exploring the great state of Michigan. In August of 2018, Corey got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. We decided to get married exactly three years later from the date we met.

Corey and I said our vows at Second Reformed Church in Zeeland and celebrated our marriage at The Kindel Room in Grand Rapids. We immediately fell in love with the wood beams, exposed brick, and touches of industrial elements in the space. Corey and I ate our first dinner as husband and wife at a sweetheart table while our friends and family sat at long, wood farm tables complete with a stunning floral garland. We kept our color palette cool and neutral, and added fun texture in our centerpieces with eucalyptus and blue thistles.

Our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more. It was a day full of love, joy, laughter, and romance that went by in a blink of an eye. We couldn’t have asked for a better day spent celebrating with family and friends.
