Brad and Lauren met, as luck would have it, on a flight from New York to Michigan.  They were married on a perfect late summer day in September. The ceremony took place at the historic Pillar Church in downtown Holland, MI. After Brad and Lauren were announced as husband and wife, guests spilled out onto the church’s lawn and were surprised by a bagpiper, a nod to the groom’s Irish roots. The couple was then whisked away to the reception in a green vintage car!

Following the ceremony, guests were transported to Macatawa Golf Club for cocktail hour and the wedding reception. They were greeted with a glass of champagne from the custom champagne wall, built by the bride’s father and uncle. Lauren and Brad’s guest tables were curated perfectly with pops of color in the floral arrangements, delftware vases, and metallic gold accents in the flatware. Following a delicious plated dinner, guests flooded to the dance floor and danced the night away before sending Brad and Lauren off through a tunnel of sparklers.

One of our favorite details was the custom craft beer 6 packs that guests took home as wedding favors. DeHop’s Brewing Company (owned by Lauren’s father) created a custom brew called Flight 6041, named after the flight where the bride and groom first met!

We loved all the personal touches and family ties that were so thoughtfully woven into Brad and Lauren’s special celebration. It was such a joy to work with them!
